Goodbye 2005...
2005 has been a year of ups and downs for me as well as for the world...was watching cnbc yday and they were showing the top business stories of 2005...it mentioned abt the energy crunch...fluctuation of oil prices...ridiculous...from USD$40 plus to USD$70 plus...then dropped to USD$50 plus...anyway i think i am boring you guys...haha wat a way to start a post...anyway been ages since i blogged...wow like almost 3 months!!! been very lazy actually...ha let's see...after exams were over, i slacked for a week before getting a job at a shipping company...worked there for abt a month...thinking tt i'll spend the last two weeks doing my FYP...oh well things didn't turn out the way i thought it would...oh well...hiya...anyway had fun at the company with the temp staff...heh though it was boring at first but after tt, realised tt i do miss them...
Finally bought my birks!!! heh 2 pairs...and i realised tt i have the same pair as my roomie! ha well guess that was the nicest pattern at the shop...so tempted to buy another one...can't seem to find anymore nice slippers from charles and keith and exodus...feet are too big...ha anyw had a new phone too...E530C heh but christmas was not a very happy one for me...oh well hope NYE would be a good one...gonna have a party!!! woo hoo! pot luck! ha i think home parties are so cool! anyway got my results last week...average B+...sch adopted the NUS system...but my cohort is not affected but well at least we know where we stand...oh well most classmates got at leasts an A-...so my results was not that great afterall...hiya...oh well it's my last semester in NTU...gonna work hard since i have two more modules...and FYP of cos...
Looking for a permanent part time job...anyone got lobang? ha i wan to work at LV!!! was there and saw angel...looks like fun! heh subject registration was last week and my system hung...wah lau...damn sian...every sem i dun have such occurrences...but oh well...*phew* things went alright...and i am having the same time table as yee yee...but not joyce, my neighbour...sobz...oh well i dun have the same timetable as you noe who...heh
Back to the top business stories...number one is crisis and recovery...hmmm i think it's really true...today my JC mates having a gathering at settler's cafe...heh reminds me of the time we were there girls! ha but not going...heh the next important thing on my list is to pass my driving!!! arghhhhh hope i can get thru it this time...my big hongbao...haha since it's jus before CNY...oops i revealed the date...haha anyw gonna cut my hair soon...this week...and pluck my eyebrows...routine before sch reopens...ha oh jus realised some of the girls got their results on 21st...how did u girls do? hope it was fine...
I really hope 2006 would be a good year for everyone...let's put behind all our unhappiness and start the year anew...May God bless...
