ok gonna post some pics...been picture-less for a long time...

the morning didn't start off well...took a bloody safari bus...and i had to ran for the bus at bedok mrt station...fortunately i saw the bus from a distance...quickly called b to meet me at the tanah merah bus stop...supposed to meet him at tanah merah station...anyway, managed to reach the ferry terminal on time...had our bfast...spent like 4.50 on a plate of bee hoon...ridiculous...i only added eggs and otah...and he bought 2 drinks, 2 eggs and 2 kaya toasts...cost him 7+ bucks...like WOW! so ex can! oh forgot to add, his nose was leaking...so not a good start...

we reached early and the hotel was deserted! couldn't get used to it cos time was passing by slowly...and there wasn't much to do...i mean there isn't any shopping to do heh so we walked ard and surveyed the surrounding...finding out the places to eat...things to do...they had elephant rides...kayaking...other sea sports like banana boat, snorkling, ...all came with a price of cos...quite costly i would say...

we decided to have a snack as our rooms were not ready...

some choc fudge cake...dun look appetising right? the long thing is a lao hong choc chip cookie...cost us 10 bucks lor...

drink called fruity medley...erm tasted weird...ha

after which we had lunch...i had mee goreng and he had some chicken rice...not bad...finally...something RIGHT!

ok anyway we slept the afternoon away cos he didn't feel very well...and i wasn't in the happiest mood...had buffet dinner at another eatery nearby...located at another resort...within walking distance...food was not bad...and there was a live band...singing nice and soothing music...had a good talk during our dinner...quickly headed back to catch the last episode of the 9pm show...heh yup the hotel has channel 5, 8, u, central, suria...channelnewsasia...and other cable channels...hit the sack early since we woke up super early in the morning...

next day, things were much better =) we were dampened by the rain in the morning...and we didn't wake up in time for sun rise...but after the passing shower, it was super sunny! tanned ourselves in the morning...and we swam in the pool and sea...it was damn nice!

the sun was really too hot for us by noon...hence, we decided to go paseh oleh oleh (famous market there) to walk walk...and hopefully have our lunch there....not sure what they sell there though...

no regrets going oleh oleh market though there wasn't much to buy...only bought some crackers for my family...btw, i had pineapple rice at 1 of the 3 eateries...it's damn yummy!!! he had some chicken rice (again) hee there was a live band playing...it was a good lunch!

wanted to do manicure and pedicure since the prices were quite cheap...but didn't have much time till the next shuttle bus...so gave it a miss...

anyway, we headed back an hour later...changed to our gear and headed to the pool again! afterwhich, decided to go to the kelong restaurant for dinner...it's located near another resort...the ambience was really quite good...with the sea breeze blowing...quite relaxing...

btw we planned to have a drink after dinner...as it was still early, we headed back to rest...i fell asleep and the next thing i knew, it was about 11 plus alr...decided to hit the sack...the sun must have taken a toll on us...

i grumbled tt we didn't get to see the sunrise on the 2nd day...hence, he made an effort to set alarm the next day...and woke me up at 7 (singapore time)...it was really worth it!

after this last shot, my camera went dead...how coincidental...anyhow, i'm glad to have watched the sunrise with him...

oh i spotted a rainbow while we were swimming!!! didn't bring the cam down hence didn't take a pic...but it was really beautiful!!! how often can one see a rainbow!!! =) we also saw this weird flaming thing flying through the air...seems like a shooting star...but it's not lah...not sure what it was though...

wanted to swim more on the last day...but was feeling lazy...weather was really sunny in the morning...so we decided to walk along the beach and take pics!

we took quite a bit of photos...anyway, we had lunch and continued to nua...kind of regret choosing the 5.30pm ferry...should have taken the 3.30pm ferry...told him if we are ever going bintan again, we should take a later ferry (say 10.30am?) there so that we can sleep more...and take an earlier ferry home...

weather was not very good at about 2+...it drizzled...check out the dark clouds...

the ferry back was horrible...turbulent...and i was sea sick...supposed to eat dinner at bedok but headed home since i wasn't feeling well...thanks b...

i think this trip is not bad...recharged myself and learnt quite a bit of things between us...hope things would be much better...
